Watching a horse race live is an exhilarating experience, the sheer power of the horses as they thunder past is astounding and the tenacity of the jockeys ensuring their horse wins is inspiring. Your day will include a behind the scenes look at the world of racing, including some insider information on how the horses are trained, the traditions and superstitions that surround the preparation for big races and some pointers on how to pick a winner. There are plenty of courses to choose from whose names might sound familiar – the latest news from the races often makes the headlines and you will probably be aware of some of the more famous races which are run at these well-established tracks. This experience is for two people and is open to the general public. You will need to be reasonably fit as some walking is involved. After booking, you will be sent tickets in the post that must be presented on the day. Please allow 2 weeks for receipt of tickets. The programme of your day will vary depending on which track you choose, but the day at the races package includes: entry to the racecourse of your choice for two (on a premier ticket, or equivalent).
